Math 4010-101 & 5530-102 Spring 2016
Tentative Schedule
Note: This schedule is still inaccurate. I believe it matches more-or-less
what we did up through March. I have Josh Carr's notes to see how I
progressed through the remainder of the course. We spent too much time
on background ring theory. For a future iteration, that background should
be cut down to make more time for applications and differential Galois
theory at the end. Also, for differential Galois theory, I need a handout
(some modified version of my paper with Tyler Bradley) covering partial
fraction decompositions (needed for a discussion of the Risch algorithm
and Liouville's theorem).
